The scaling mission
Ten million Africans, ready for the AI economy
Project 10 Million is the five-year mission through which ITSKILLS4AFRICA pursues continent-wide reach and verified outcomes — not vanity metrics, but people who learn, build, earn and lead.
The ambition
A verified path from capability to opportunity
Africans learn relevant capabilities, apply them to real problems, build products and businesses, and enter economic opportunities. The platform is the acquisition and trust layer; the outcomes are the point.
Recommended public formulation
Ten million Africans reached, three million completing foundations and one million intensively trained — subject to approved five-year operating targets and verified counting rules.
Reached
Ten million Africans reached with approved digital-economy learning.
Foundations
Three million completing structured foundation pathways.
Intensive
One million intensively trained with performance evidence.
Counting framework
A transparent hierarchy of verified impact
Each person is counted once, at their highest verified achievement level. We publish the reporting period, denominator, verification method and known limitations.
| Level | Definition | Minimum evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Reached | Meaningful verified exposure to approved digital-economy learning. | Unique identity or approved de-duplicated partner record, plus an activity threshold. |
| Foundation completion | Completed a structured foundation pathway. | Required units, assessment and completion rules. |
| Intensive graduate | Completed an advanced pathway with performance evidence. | Verified capstone or business implementation plus a quality decision. |
| Economic outcome | Job, income, promotion, freelance, business or investment progression. | Dated outcome record with a declared verification level. |
| Business transformed | Organisation implemented an approved solution with measured value. | Baseline, result, responsible owner and evidence review. |
We never convert impressions, followers, radio audiences or repeated sessions directly into trained-person counts. Direct platform evidence is kept separate from partner-supplied or estimated reach.
Pilot before scale
Scale is earned, not assumed
The controlled pilot proves learning, business and economic outcomes before we scale. Registration volume alone is never sufficient.
Pilot geographies
Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and the UK diaspora, with pan-African online participation where support permits.
Recruitment mix
Universities, SME associations, telcos, schools, community and faith networks — plus a controlled open application channel.
Evaluation
Baseline, completion, quality and experience, with 30, 90 and 180-day outcome follow-up.

How to take part
Everyone has a role in the mission
- Learners enrol, build evidence and progress toward opportunity.
- Businesses implement one measurable AI use case and record the result.
- Mentors and instructors support participants and safeguard quality.
- Partners and sponsors mobilise reach, funding and verified outcomes.
Be part of the first ten million
